LUISA FRANZONE IS THE NEW CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AT BAULI GROUP 

Verona, 20 June 2024 – Bauli Group has consolidated its operations and supply chain team with the appointment of Luisa Franzone as Chief Operating Officer. 

As of 17 June, this leading player in the confectionery industry has a new COO with vast international experience. Her appointment is a move to strengthen the company’s production strategy on both domestic and foreign markets while focusing on the goal of sustainable competitive edge. 

At the head of the Operations & Supply Chain division, the new COO will oversee the management of the entire production process, from planning and procurement through manufacturing to logistics and distribution. Her main objectives also include optimising the quality and efficiency of production operations and at the same time ensuring the highest standards of safety and service. 

Franzone can boast long and diversified experience in operations and supply chain management at international level. After graduating in chemical engineering from the University of Genoa, she began her career at Unilever, where she worked in positions of increasing responsibility before becoming Country Supply Chain VP in 2016. Before joining Bauli Group, Franzone was Head of Global Supply Chain at Bayer.
