06/03/2024 BAULI GROUP ON SHOW AT“IDENTITALIA – The Iconic Italian Brands” Verona, 13 February 2024 – From 13 February to 6 April, Bauli Group is one of the key players at the “IDENTITALIA – The Iconic Italian Brands” exhibition for businesses in the Made in Italy segment, where it is showcasing two of its most iconic brands: Bauli and Motta. Organised by MIMIT, the event marks the Italian Patent and Trademark Office’s 140th anniversary. In the rooms of Palazzo Piacentini in Rome, visitors will be taken on a journey through the rites and rituals of everyday life, guided by the brands that have made history in Italy. It is a journey that frames Bauli is an Italian icon in the confectionery and sweet baked goods industry, founded in 1922 in Verona as a small artisan confectioner with a focus on the traditional Pandoro recipe, whose secret lies in the fluffy softness resulting from the sourdough starter and many hours of leavening. Today, 100 years and three generations later, Bauli is renowned for its Italian-made excellence both in its home country and on international markets. Motta, on the other hand, was established when the young Angelo Motta opened an artisan bakery in 1919 to produce sweet baked goods and, with incredible insight, invented the product we know today as Panettone. Since then, his creation has conquered the world, acting as a powerful symbol of Italianness for over a century and telling the brand’s unique and hugely successful story, “We are honoured to be part of this important exhibition organised by MIMIT,” said Bauli Group Chairman Michele Bauli, “which celebrates the history of our country through its most iconic brands.
